SUMMER WILDERNESS TRIPS

Our line-up of summer-time recreation is guaranteed to be an experience of a lifetime.  Whether you are a family seeking some “out of cell range” time, or a couple seeking some new adventures we have an easy trip that will challenge and rejuvenate you.  The Omineca area is a beautiful wilderness full of lakes, rivers, mountains and valleys with lots of wildlife and scenery that is second to none.

All of our trips are fully guided and all-inclusive with pricing based on a minimum of two people.

All trips are a minimum of 5 days and for most you can add a couple of extra days if the schedule allows at a set day-rate.

Summer Fishing Trip

To say the fishing is world class is an understatement.  Many of the places we fish you will be the only person to fish those areas that year and the fishing reflects that.  The area works well whether fishing by spin casting or on the fly and you are able to fish both on rivers and lakes.  You can fish for Rainbow trout (2 – 4 lbs), lake trout (2-15lbs), bull trout 2-15lb) and arctic grayling (1-2lbs).

Backcountry Horse Trip

There’s little in this life that compares to riding a good horse in beautiful country and the Omineca mountains are an ideal setting for a classic pack trip into the backcountry.  Whether you are a seasoned rider or its your first time on a horse we have the trip for you.  And be sure to take advantage of the fantastic fishing while you are out there.  Trips require at least 2 people and are a minimum of 5 days.  Accommodation is in cabins and canvas wall tents.

NEW – Canoe Expedition

NEW – There are many large river systems that we operate on and one of the best ways to explore them is a multi-day trip by canoe.  Over 5 days you will travel 80km of beautiful remote river.  The five days with one layover day halfway through the trip splits the travel distances up nicely and allows you to fully take in the wildlife and wilderness.  River trips are done on slow moving rivers (not whitewater) and require basic paddling skills.  There are lots of excellent fishing opportunities to be had along the way.  Accommodation is in tents and meals are done on campstoves and open fires. The trip requires at least 2 people to a maximum of 4.

Booking Your Dates

All of our trips start on a Monday and are set to book for a minimum of 5 days with 2 extra days available if needed.  Days colored green are available to book.

• Step 1: Click on the “Check In” link and the calendar will pop up. Navigate to the month/year you want (summer months). Mondays of available weeks will be highlighted in green.
• Step 2: Once you pick a starting date the calendar will automatically show the 5th, 6th and 7th day as choices. Choose one.
• Step 3: the calendar will now show the dates booked, the # of days and the cost x number of days.  We recommend at this point that you STOP and CHECK by email with us to confirm that your dates are still available.  We sometimes get bookings by phone and they may not be entered in the calendar yet.

Once you have approval for the dates by email, we will direct you to go back to the booking system, choose those dates and this time click the Book Now button which will start the checkout process.  Then click on view cart or checkout to continue to the payment of a 50% deposit to hold your spot.  We use secure payment transactions through STRIPE.
